What is JA Finance Park?
JA Finance Park is a simulated experiential learning program that takes place at our state-of-the-art facility in St. Paul. Several weeks of classroom learning culminates in a day-long visit to our experiential learning lab(s) where middle and high school students then assume family and income scenarios and visit businesses within the lab to gather information for their personal financial decision-making.
What is a volunteer's role?
As a volunteer, you will work with a small group of students to help them gather information for their personal financial decision-making. You do not need to have all the answers! Being a mentor who can offer real life knowledge and share personal experiences is the value that you will add to the students' experience.
