Peer Mentorship & Community Support

This session will include:
• Subject matter expert-led presentations on survivorship topics (survivors and/or professionals)
• Interactive activity/exercise designed for oncology patients
• Interactive Q&A and peer discussion

- When: Monday, March 24th from 5-6PM
- Where: Hybrid (in-person at hospital & virtual)
- The Community Wellness Center (Side A) inside the Outpatient Care Center on the fourth floor (255 Hospital Drive Glen Burnie, MD 21061)
- Who: Open to all cancer survivors, caregivers welcome
Topics – This session will focus on survivor-to-survivor support and mentorship programs, with oncology social worker Rebecca Pisner facilitating the discussion. Survivors will have the opportunity to share their insights, followed by a group discussion to foster connections among survivors. The session will also emphasize sharing community-based resources to enhance support networks.
