Roadrunner Response Fund - Application

Funds are awarded based on expenses incurred as a result of the natural disaster as outlined in the applicant’s explanation for why the emergency funds are needed. Each request is considered on a case-by-case basis; eligibility is based on available funds.


3 levels of grants are available and will be awarded based on the level of impact and described expenses:

  • $500 – lost everything; in need of medical expense reimbursement; insurance deductibles
  • $250 – reimbursement of lost wages or short term housing/lodging expenses, etc.
  • $100 – minimal damage/loss; loss of food during power outages, etc. Funds will be paid on a one-time basis for each qualifying household.


Applications are reviewed by University staff and applicants will be notified in writing with a decision on the award within 5 business days. Completion of the application is not a guarantee of award.


Once approved, the applicant will receive funds via ACH transfer within 5-7 business days.
