One World \ One Northwestern Peer Resource Group Interest Form

Thank you for your interest in OWON's peer resource groups.

OWON peer resource groups are communities of practice that bring together staff from across the university working in the same areas and, in some cases, facing the same challenges.

The purpose of the OWON peer resource group initiative is

  • to build networks of colleagues with similar responsibilities throughout Northwestern, and
  • to provide a space for creative problem-solving and sharing of best practices.

Peer resource group leaders will also be appointed to the OWON Staff Advisory Council, and will be responsible for:

  • convening their peer resource groups
  • joining a quarterly meeting with IR staff to discuss the groups’ outcomes (best practices guides, identification of challenges to getting work done at Northwestern in that group’s area, etc.) and
  • providing feedback on and suggestions for OWON activities.

Each group will require a minimum of 5 participants, so not all may come to fruition.
