One of the services at the core of USET's Office of Tribal Public Health (OTPH) is to provide technical assistance to Tribal Nations within key areas of public health practice.

‘Technical assistance’ (TA) describes a professional relationship between OTPH and the individual/program/organization requesting the assistance. Technical assistance will typically involve a commitment on the part of both OTPH staff and the individual/program/organization making the request.

OTPH can offer a variety of technical assistance; the exact nature of the technical assistance provided will depend upon the nature of the request, available resources and the capacity of THPS staff.
