Application Questions

Help our team get to know you!

The questions below that deal with days and times are NOT final and might not reflect the times and durations of this position. These just help our team start the scheduling process.

If you are unsure about your answers, just submit what works best for you at this time or leave it blank! Our team will reach out and schedule a phone interview once we have received your application and we can figure out more details then.

Tell us about YOU! You'll have a chance to list work experience in a later question.

This could be through a news story, a friend or family member, or even just a internet search!

How often are you looking to volunteer?
Will you need a Volunteer Hour Verification Letter?*

Court-Ordered Volunteer Hours, including Diversion Programs, must be approved by Feeding San Diego staff before any hours can count towards court-ordered volunteer service. Court-ordered volunteer service must take place in the distribution center; remote and community-based volunteering will not count towards court-ordered volunteer service. Feeding San Diego does not approve Court-Ordered Volunteer Service if the crimes/charges are violent, theft, or sexual in nature, which is up to Feeding San Diego Volunteer Management to decide.

If you have not yet been approved, please feel free to submit this application. To begin the approval process, please submit our Court Order Interest Form in addition to this application.

Do you want to be added to our Special Projects Volunteer List?*

We occasionally get requests from other departments at Feeding San Diego for unique projects. These aren't frequent enough for their own Leadership Volunteer Position, but being added to this list simply means that you are okay if we contact you if something comes up that and fits your background.

If you select yes, we do ask that you answer an additional question and submit a resume.

If you don't see yours, select the field that fits the best.
