LOCATION OF CLASSES:

All classes and/or events are held in the City Hall Community Rooms located at 1140 Terex Road, unless otherwise noted. There is a wide center walkway from the back parking lot to the back of City Hall. Follow the center wide sidewalk. As you approach City Hall, enter through the large doors in the center of the building. The Community Rooms are located there.


PARKING AT CITY HALL:

Please park in the back parking lot where the Employee Parking is. The Community Rooms are located in the back of City Hall (see above).


HOW TO REGISTER:

Please put a check in front of the date(s) you would like to attend. NOTE: Some classes have restrictions and/or limited capacity. Please read the 'RESTRICTION' description under each class before registering.


EMAIL REMINDERS:

Please include an email address when requested in the form to receive email reminders! Email reminders are sent a few days before the class or event that you registered for.

WELLNESS CLASSES MONDAY & TUESDAY

 

Donation for Wellness Classes

All require a $5 Donation to the Instructor (bring with you to each class).

Classes are offered on most Monday's except Holidays (City Hall is closed) and Tuesday's.

Please note, restrictions are indicated below. If you do not see a class listed, it is not available.

 

Monday & Thursday Balance Class (Vigorous Class) from 9:30-10:15am

May: Every Monday except Holidays, class is offered. During the month of May a $5 donation is requested for the instructor Jill Rango. There is no class on Memorial Day, May 26.


June: Starting in June this class be held on Thursday from 9:30-10:15am. Please bring a $5 donation for the instructor Kay Powers.


RESTRICTION: Seniors must be able to get out of a chair unassisted and ambulate without assistance. THIS IS A CHALLENGING CLASS!


 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Beginning in June, class is held on Thursday:

There is no class on June 19th - Juneteenth Holiday

 
 
 

Monday Chair Yoga from 10:30am-11:15pm

Every Monday except Holidays, class is offered.

RESTRICTION: NONE (This class can include attendees with assistive devices).

DONATION: $5 for the instructor.

Tuesday Beginning Line Dancing from 10:00am-10:45am

Every Tuesday of the month. This class is fun and great for balance. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes!

RESTRICTION: Seniors must be able to ambulate without assistance.

Tuesday Chair Core Strengthening from 11:00am-11:30am

Every Tuesday of the month. Chair core strength class will work on your abdominals and strengthen your lower back. The class is 20 minutes of a core workout and 10 minutes of stretching. $5 to the Instructor.

SOCIAL & SPECIAL EVENTS REGISTRATION

 

Donation for Social & Special Events

A $5 monthly or $15 quarterly donation is due before or on arrival of your first event. You can pay with cash or check.


Cash can be brought with you to the first event you attend for the month or you can pay for each quarter in full at your first event.


Checks should be written to HUDSON SENIOR NETWORK FOUNDATION and brought with you to the first event you attend in the quarter or mailed (one week prior to the first event you plan on attending in each quarter) to: Kris Barker, c/o Hudson Senior Network Foundation, 6947 Walters Road, Hudson, OH 44236.

 

Wednesday Page Turners Book Club at 12:30pm (2nd Wed)

Every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 12:30pm.The Book Club, named PAGE TURNERS, will begin meeting in January 2024 on the second Wednesday of the month, at 12:30pm. Anyone interested is encouraged to send their book recommendations and suggestions to: neelamb9191@gmail.com.

Wednesday Special Events at 11:30am (2nd & 4th Wed)

Every 2nd & 4th Wednesday. Doors open at 11:15am and lunch or a snack & refreshment is served between 11:30am-11:45am. Speaker or event will begin at Noon.


Please bring $5 per month or $15 per quarter as a donation for these classes.


NOTE: The April 23rd event is from 11am to 1pm and requires a $15 CASH ONLY fee for materials

Thursday Mah Jongg

Every Thursday from 1:00pm–3:00pm. Starting May 5, 2025, experienced Mah Jongg players interested in playing at Hudson City Hall can call Chesney Gulas at 216-906-2578 and leave a voicemail. If you’d like to learn the game, reach out to Chesney using the same contact information to be added to the waiting list. New players must commit to four consecutive weeks of instruction.

 

Friday Lunch Bunch
