2022 Dia de los Muertos Festival Face Painting Artist Application

Thank you for applying to be a participating artist at the 2022 Dia de los Muertos Festival! The event will be Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 4 - 10 pm at Sloss Furnaces.

We will providing a 10' x 40' tent to create a face painting central area for our guests to find easily.

We do ask face painters to use a standard face rate sheet and collect your own payments.

Standard Rate Sheet Request:

Full Face = $28.00

Half Face = $17.00

Bling = Plus $5 to add bling

The artist fee will be $100.00 per artist. We will invoice you once you have been approved to participate.

We are accepting applications and you will be notified of your participation as quickly as possible.

We understand some artists prefer higher tables and we as the festival will only be able to provide standard height (36") if you need us to provide it.

Do you provide your own guest chair?

We understand some artists prefer their guests to be in a higher sitting chair (like a director's chair). We will only be able to provide a standard folding chair which is only lap level if we need to provide it.

Will you be able to arrive early and paint volunteers' faces from 2pm to 4pm? Volunteers will pay the regular rates to get painted.

How many different sugar skull style face designs do you offer?

We want to accommodate as many guests as possible but we do want your creativity!
