WOAH Centralised Experts Database for ad hoc Groups, Working Groups, experts Groups
The WOAH Director General establishes ad hoc Groups and Working Groups. Ad hoc Groups supports the work of the Specialist Commissions but also WOAH more broadly. Working Groups are responsible for continuingly reviewing developments in their fields and for keeping WOAH Members informed of current issues. Membership of ad hoc Groups and Working Groups reflects a geographical balance with an appropriate balance of expertise and scientific background. Experts are expected to act independently of their employer and will be required to complete a declaration of interest and a confidentiality agreement before they take up any work for WOAH. An ad hoc Group or Working Group may meet once or on several occasions, usually for 3 days, in order to fulfill the Terms of Reference. Ad hoc Groups and Working Groups are governed by the Terms of Reference and Internal Rules for Working Groups and ad hoc Groups in the Basic Texts of WOAH Internal Rules which can be found on WOAH website http://www.woah.org. Should you encounter any issues while registering, please contact expert_applications@woah.org.
