Application Form

Applicants attest that they will be able to attend the duration of the AUA and attend the SSMR and SMSNA meetings, mentor breakfast, and assigned sessions. You must be a member of both SSMR and SMSNA.


Meeting expenses covered by the program may include airfare, hotel accommodations, SSMR and SMSNA meeting, and tuition for the postgraduate course/s and all special lectures. It is the responsibility of the resident to register for meetings and the post-graduate course/s they wish to attend. The maximum reimbursement will be $1,000 per fellow. Overages are the responsibility of the fellow or the home institution.


Applications are due by January 10, 2025.

Awards will be announced by February 3, 2025.

By submitting this form, I acknowledge I have discussed with my Department Chairman and have the support of the below-named member of our department as a traveling fellow of the SSMR and SMSNA. The Department Chairman understands it is the responsibility of the resident to register for meetings and the post-graduate course/s they wish to attend. The Dept Chairman understands that attendance at the AUA meeting will be subsidized by a stipend up to a maximum of $1,000, and that attendance of the fellow at all traveling fellowship functions is expected Saturday through Tuesday afternoon at a minimum.
