SCA (Qld) Accredited Strata Community Manager (ASCM) Application - Form B1b

For period 1 July 2024 - 30 June 2025 This is the first level of Accreditation for Strata Managers in Strata Management Companies. If you are a Strata Manager and have a Certificate IV in Property Services (Operations) or Certificate IV in Strata Community Management you may be eligible for Certified Strata Community Manager (CSCM) Membership - Form B1c - https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/b0ea1a5153bb437cad98ab61ad9a7479

Eligibility Criteria

- Must be employed by a corporate member - Must abide by the Code of Conduct - https://www.qld.strata.community/qld-code-of-conduct - The application will not meet the criteria guidelines where the applicant is not of good repute within the industry, has outstanding commissioner orders concerning practice standards, or where there is a history of commissioner orders of concern about practice standards and/or ethical issues - Where the applicant is not known to the SCA (Qld) Executive Officer (EO) or the Board of Directors, the EO may request further information, e.g. usually by way of a Proposer and Seconder for the application. - Has not been declared bankrupt or convicted of an offence involving dishonesty.

Minimum 1 year membership and 2 years experience in managing Strata Communities

Renewal Eligibility

- To be eligible for renewal, Accredited members are required to collect 24 CPD points in 24 months with 2 hours of compulsory and 2 hours of best practice. A minimum of 6 SCA points per annum must be achieved. - National Police Check provided every 3 years.
