The Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) aims to enhance the science and technology capabilities in states and jurisdictions that traditionally receive fewer federal research and development funds. The University of Iowa is eligible for EPSCoR funding from four federal funding agencies: the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Energy (DOE), NASA, and the National Science Foundation (NSF).
