Community Cat Caretaker must be actively working towards getting the entire colony of outdoor community cats spayed/neutered, vaccinated and ear tipped.

Community Cat Caretaker must be feeding in a way that does not attract raccoons or possums. Cats must be fed at set times and food cannot be left out after the cats have finished eating. Cat Caretakers must have the permission of the property owner or manager to be feeding unless they are feeding on their own property or on city property.

GAS has the final say on whether or not a cat is healthy enough to undergo sterilization or needs to be humanely euthanized. GAS may also determine that a cat should be placed up for adoption instead of returned to the field.

Once sterilized and after the designated recovery period, the cat should be released in the general vicinity of where it was trapped.

I agree that accidental animal bites or other injuries to humans and other animals do occur, and agree to hold harmless and indemnify, and protect GAS from any claim or suit filed by someone as a result of such incident. In addition, GAS will not be responsible if animal should damage or destroy property belonging to Cat Caretaker, Cat Caretaker household, or others, or if the animal shall transfer any disease, internal or external parasites to other animals and people in Cat Caretaker household. I understand that if I am approved as a Community Cat Caretaker, this declaration represents a legal contract between me as the Cat Caretaker and GAS. I understand that if I am approved as a Community Cat Caretaker, I must abide by this agreement and that this agreement applies to any and all animals that I manage in my colony.
