WELCOME! Eligible persons may use this form to submit a request for data analysis or other data-related assistance to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.


Only persons working at a Texas institution of higher education or system who are requesting data on behalf of their institution or system may use this form. THECB staff are also eligible.


All other persons seeking information or reports using data collected by the Coordinating Board must submit their request according to our Public Information Request process. Contact our Public Information Center and submit a public information request.

NOTE: THECB's data request policies require any person who is not from a Texas institution of higher education to submit his/her request through the Public Information Request (PIR) process; or, THECB may have a data sharing agreement in place with the external party that can expediate the data sharing process.

Do you need to request data from TEA or TWC? THECB Staff seeking to use TEA or TWC data through the Tri-Agency Master Sharing Agreement must have approval from a Deputy Commissioner before submitting a data access request to TEA and/or TWC.

Do you already have approval via email from the Deputy Commissioner for the Tri-Agency data request? If YES, attach a copy of the email approval to this ticket. If NO, then Smartsheet will send an approval request on your behalf.

Are you seeking FERPA-confidential data? THECB Staff seeking to use FERPA-confidential data sets, analysis, or research must have approval through the Agency Research Inventory process.

Please note we strive to complete all requests within 30 days, depending on availability of staff and data. An analyst will reach out to you if there are any questions or anticipated delays in processing this request.
