In bringing the home-team spirit to Worcester for the Worcester Red Sox, we realized: the players aren’t the only stars here. There are people right here in our community that deserve to be cheered for, too.

That’s why we’re inviting you to nominate a WooStar: a non-profit leader who has stepped up to the plate to serve their community.

The winning WooStars will receive the recognition they deserve on field, along with a $5,000 donation to the non-profit they serve. Game day recognition will be Wednesday August 6th.

Nominations will close on Friday June 13, 2025
