‘Play On’ by England Football
‘Play On’ is an England Football initiative designed to help clubs and approved providers work in partnership with schools to support the transition (movement) of girls from school football into community football.
Once you have identified a school to partner with, the club/approved provider delivers football sessions in the school for several weeks, with the final football sessions delivered at the club/approved provider site. The aim is to support the movement of girls into community football.
It is a suggested 8-week intervention, with the first 6 weeks of girls football sessions being delivered by the club on the school site. The final 2 weeks are at the club itself. However, this model can be adapted to meet the local preferences.
As part of Play On, you will receive an equipment pack, session plans, template letters, and a consent form. These will be sent to the delivery address that you provide on this form.
If you're interested in being part of 'Play On' and supporting the transition of girls from school football to community football, please complete this form.
Before completing the form, you must have spoken with the school that you have identified to be part of this initiative with you.
