Book a one-on-one slot to speak with a former committee member and a member of the Candidate Journey Team. Whether you're an interested candidate or representing a nominating organization, this is your chance to ask questions, gain valuable insights, and learn more about the candidacy process from those who’ve been through it. Select all your available time slots via the Smartsheet and you soon will be confirmed about the timming.

Wed - 12th February 2025

19:00-20:00 CET - 60 minutes


Join us for an informative session that will walk you through the candidacy process for the European Scout Committee. Learn about the steps involved in running for a position, gain insight into the roles, responsibilities and competencies required, and hear from past candidates who can share their knowledge and experience.


Whether you're considering a role or just curious about the process, this session will provide valuable information to guide your decision.

This is a unique opportunity for all potential candidates to attend an online business meeting of the current Committee. Get an insider’s view of the decision-making process, observe how the team collaborates, and gain a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and dynamics of the role.


This session is designed to help better inform you about the role, before running for a position at the European Scout Conference.

Wed - 16th April 2025

19:00-20:30 CET - 90 minutes


This session is designed to equip delegates with everything they need to know for a successful and informed conference experience. We’ll cover the Rules of Procedure, the conference agenda, and the e-voting process.


Additionally, we’ll offer dedicated breakout rooms: one for new delegates and one for youth delegates, providing tailored support and guidance.

19:00-20:00 CET - 60 minutes


Join us for a presentation of the final draft of the Regional Scout Plan (RSP), highlighting the key priorities and strategic goals for the upcoming period. This session will provide an overview of the RSP, followed by an open space for discussion and a Q&A session. It’s a great opportunity to engage with the plan, ask questions, and provide feedback.

18:00-19:00 CET - 60 minutes


Join us for an overview of the financial situation from the Treasurer's report. We’ll cover key financial facts, including the financial status for 2022-2025, and provide insights into the budget and funding priorities. The session will include a Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and gain a clearer understanding of the finances.

19:30-20:30 CET - 60 minutes


This session is designed to familiarize Member Organizations (MOs) with the proposed resolutions ahead of the conference. We will provide an overview of each resolution, followed by a discussion space for feedback and questions.


Additionally, we will recap the process for submitting amendments, ensuring that all delegates are clear on how to engage with the resolutions effectively.

Thur - 19th June 2025

19:00-20:30 CET - 90 minutes


This session is exclusively for those running for election. It’s designed to build a sense of community among candidates and ensure everyone is aligned on the expectations and process for the upcoming election.


We’ll cover key topics such as creating your candidate profile, understanding the electoral process, exploring engagement opportunities, and outlining the next steps. The session will also include a Q&A, giving you the chance to clarify any questions as you prepare for the election.

Wed - 2nd July 2025

18:00-19:00 CET - 60 minutes


Open to all Member Organizations (MOs), delegates and observers, this session will present the election framework for the upcoming conference. We will discuss how the election process is designed to be fair, safe, and inclusive, ensuring equal opportunities for all candidates.


Key topics will include the Competency Matrix, which outlines the skills and qualities sought in candidates, as well as a preview of how interactions and candidate sessions will be created during the conference.

19:30-21:00 CET - 90 minutes


Join us for a session where you can get to know the candidates running for election. Each candidate will introduce themselves and share their vision and motivation for the role. Following the introductions, we will address key questions to help you better understand their perspectives, goals, and qualifications. This is your opportunity to engage with the candidates and gain insights the Conference and to inform voting.
