IDHS is hosting the fourth annual UAV Skills Camp in January 2025 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Attendees should be UAV pilots who want to hone their skills, evaluate sensor systems, and train and evaluate other UAV pilots. Those who are interested in becoming UAV pilots may also attend.

The camp offers the opportunity to complete the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) sUAS Standard Test Methods Course daily. Attendees can expect plenty of opportunity for valuable flying time indoors (may also fly outdoors, weather permitting). There is no cost to attend.

Dates: Jan. 15-17, 2025

Times: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Eastern

Days 1-2 (Jan. 15-16): Open training, U.S. drone manufacturer live demos

Day 3 (Jan. 17): Open training, competitions
