About 3DE by Junior Achievement

As a learning model, 3DE is designed to position students for choice-filled lives, meaning that students are prepared for the future they envision. In partnership with high schools, 3DE breaks free from the traditional classroom structure to bring real-world connectivity into the everyday academic experience.

Junior Achievement North is seeking volunteers to help 9th grade students at both Como Park Senior High School and Washington Tech Magnet High School in St. Paul as they participate in 3DE. View descriptions and sign-up for opportunities below:

About JA Career Speaker

What is JA Career Speaker?

Junior Achievement North is seeking volunteers to share their knowledge and experience related to their career path. A volunteer guest speaker visits a classroom and shares their career, work, and educational journey with students.

What is a volunteer's role?

Career Speakers will introduce themselves and their jobs in a short presentation, and then will meet with smaller groups of students to dive deeper into their career journey and answer student questions. JA provides all resources, instructions, and support for volunteers.

Volunteer Preferences (not required): The 10:45-11:55am and 2:15-3:20pm classes would both benefit from having Spanish-speaking volunteers (indicated with '**').

Volunteer Preferences (not required): The options beginning with '**' indicate a Dual Language Program class and would benefit from having Spanish-speaking volunteers.

About JA Mock Interviews

What is JA Mock Interviews?

Junior Achievement North is seeking volunteers to conduct mock interviews. A group of volunteers visit a classroom to help high school students practice their interview skills.

What is a volunteer's role?

Mock Interview volunteers will conduct a few (2-3) 20-minute interviews with students, while also providing feedback and advice. JA provides all resources, instructions, and support for volunteers.
