FIRST Robotics

This program contributes to skills development in the young people involved, with massive involvement globally since 1989. FIRST Australia is an initiative that is led by Macquarie University, and which is run out of the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

You may receive up to 10 adjustment points for the selective degrees offered by the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

The degrees exclude:

Bachelor of Actuarial Studies and Bachelor of Information Technology

12 months of active participation in FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) / FIRST Robotics Challenge (FRC) teams

Participation in at least one official FRC regional event (approximately 34 hours), or participation in at least one official FTC qualifier event (approximately 24 hours)

Completion of an individual or group FIRST outreach project

At least once in an FTC or FRC world championship
