Abstract Submission for Trainee Travel Awards: FOCIS European Advanced Course

Thanks to the generous contributions from FOCIS and IUIS, we are able to provide 10 travel grants and 5 junior awards to support attendance to the FOCIS European Advanced Course and Conference on Immunology and Immunopathology.

IUIS will offer the ten €500 merit-based travel grants to trainees or post-docs from LMIC (low/middle income country) with highest-scoring abstracts of which they are the first/senior author and presenter.

FOCIS will offer the five $500 awards to trainees or post-docs for the best abstracts of which they are the first/senior author and presenter.

The FOCIS junior award cannot be combined with the IUIS travel grant.

Trainees who would like to be considered for one of the available travel awards will need to submit an abstract. All abstracts must be submitted by June 1, 2025, at 11:59 pm CET.

Five abstracts will be selected for an oral (podium) presentation and other abstracts will be selected for poster presentation on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

Presenting authors of travel awardees are required to register for the FOCIS 2025 European advance course and conference on immunology by August 15, 2025.
