Downtown Ferndale Public Art Program

The Ferndale Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has coordinated a Public Art initiative for many years. We are conducting this survey to better understand community and stakeholder interest. The following survey is open to anyone interested in the public arts including those who work in, live in, or visit Ferndale.

For these initial questions, “public art” is meant as installations that are visually and physically accessible to the public, such as murals and sculptures. This will help us make more informed decisions about future installations that reflect the community's thoughts and feelings.

How should public art installations be selected and paid for?

For this next section, questions are not restricted to public art installations, but refer to all art mediums such as music, dance, theater, fine art, etc.

This is intended to help us learn about the community's desire for arts facilities and programming.

In the past year, approximately how often did you attend an arts or cultural experience in person?
