Responsibilities include the following:

•    Proctor an exam room of approximately 30 to 80 examinees

•    Maintain strict control of all exam materials and processes

•    Observe examinees for any signs of cheating

•    Immediately report any cheating concerns to Admissions Manager

•    Respond to examinee questions regarding exam process

•    Follow direction of Board of Bar Exam members and bar staff

Volunteer Requirements:

•    Active or Inactive OSB membership in good standing

•    No pending bar complaints or matters

•    Must agree to disclose any family, household, close personal or financial relationships with individuals taking bar exam and certify that you have no conflict of interest

•    Willing to execute nondisclosure agreement to maintain confidentiality of all exam materials and processes

Time Commitment:

•    One to two hour video training to be viewed the week of July 17th.

•    The bar exam will take place Tuesday, July 25, 2023 and Wednesday, July 26, 2023.

•    7:00 am to 5:00 pm each day with approximately one-hour lunch break.

Expense Reimbursement:

•    Bar will provide light breakfast and lunch, or a per diem of $31.00 each day of exam

•    Bar will reimburse mileage at IRS rate of $0.655 per mile to and from home and the exam site each day

Additional Information:

•    OSB will distribute exam room assignments by July 21, 2023

•    The preference is that volunteers will work both days

•    One-day only volunteers are appreciated
