Choice Application Process (CAP) 2024-25

Students are assigned to their home/neighborhood school according to their home address. The Choice Application Process (CAP) is to be completed to request a different Elementary School than your student is currently attending or is assigned to. Placement is by based on seats available. The CAP is also completed to request to return to your neighborhood assigned school. Please complete one form for each student applying.

If you live on the east side of the district, your elementary choices are Amy Beverland, Forest Glen, Indian Creek, Oaklandon, Sunnyside, and Winding Ridge. West side elementary school choices are Brook Park, Crestview, Forest Glen, Harrison Hill, Mary Castle, or Skiles Test. Submission of this CAP application does not guarantee placement. 2) An email notification of placement status will be sent to the email address provided by applicant. 3) If placement in the Spanish Immersion program is offered and accepted to students entering grades 2 or higher, the student will be assessed before placement is confirmed.
