EveryLife Matters Event

Cumberland FA have teamed up with Everylife Matters to run a face-to-face session on Tuesday 12th April @12:00 – 1:30 pm at Workington AFC’s Borough Park Ground.


The session will last for approximately an hour and with some time at the end to talk about resources and answer any questions


“We are aware more than ever that our young people’s mental health is crucially important. This hour long session provides an insight into Mental Health, Self Harm, suicide and also the role of clubs in cultivating positive mental health, it is designed as an introduction for parents and Carers or anyone who works with young people.”


The session aims to cover the following:

•    What do we mean by mental health?

•    Myths and facts about mental health, self-harm and suicide

•    Tips on supporting young people

•    What support and resources are available to help?

•    Developing positive role modelling for Mental health
