Louis Events and Catering RSO Exemption Request Form

This form is to be used by Registered Student Organizations (RSO) to request an exemption from utilizing Louis Events and Catering for an event.


Louis Events and Catering is the preferred caterer for the University of Louisville on both the Belknap and HSC campuses and the exclusive caterer for University of Louisville Student Activities Center (SAC) and provides a cost-conscious menu for student groups.


To qualify for an exemption, student groups are required to fill out the below electronic form. If you have questions, please send us an email at catering@louisville.edu or give us a call at 502-852-5211.


If you find that you do not have the budget to use Louis Events and Catering to cater your event, please reach out to Catering@louisville.edu and request in-kind funds to help support your event financially.

Please Note: Donated food for student events may also be exempt from this policy. If food is donated, the company providing the food donation must provide the RSO a letter to show donation. This letter must be added as an attachment to this form.

Please include an invoice of previous event costs or any quotes that you've received from other vendors. If you are requesting to use an outside caterer, please attach a copy of their licenses/insurance. If food is being donated, please provider a letter from the company providing the food donation.
