SEU Walk Challenge Registration Fall 2024
Welcome to the SEU Walk Challenge. Over the course of 6 weeks, individuals OR teams of 2 (i.e. ~63 for each teammate) will track how many steps/miles they walk each week with the goal of walking 126 miles by the end of the program. For those using pedometers (or basic tracking bands) steps will be converted to miles as follows:
1000 Steps = 0.5 Mile
2000 Steps = 1 Mile
3000 Steps = 1.5 Miles
4000 Steps = 2 Miles
5000 Steps = 2.5 Miles
6000 Steps = 3 Miles
7000 Steps = 3.5 Miles
8000 Steps = 4 Miles
9000 Steps = 4.5 Miles
10000 Steps = 5 Miles
Once the challenge starts, you will be sent a form to track/submit your progress. The Challenge will run October 14 - November 24.
