The Military Veterans Commission was formed in early 2023 as a volunteer advisory group to City Council and the City Manager to create and foster a respectful atmosphere honoring current and past members of the United States Armed Forces. At times, the Military Veterans Commission receives requests for a speaker or presentation (such as retiring a flag, attending a ceremony, giving an educational presentation, etc.). Though the Military Veterans Commission operates primarily on volunteers, they will make every attempt to fulfill requests received. Please submit your request thirty (30) days in advance for consideration.
