Instructions

Please use this form to submit your proposal to ISGC for consideration. In the event you are submitting multiple proposals, please submit one form for each proposal.


All proposals submitted by the deadline and satisfying eligibility criteria and proposal guidelines will be considered for funding. Prior to submission, the proposer’s research/grant office or the financial administrator for the institution must approve the proposal.

Proposal Type*

Please make sure you select the correct proposal type, as the form adapts questions to your selection. Please read the descriptions below:


  • ISGC Fellowship- ISGC Graduate Fellowships at an Idaho Based institution of Higher Education are worth $45,000 and are good for one year. Complete application should be completed through NASA STEM Gateway. Complete the basic details below as well as upload the following documents: Resume and Unofficial Transcript.


  • ISGC Idaho-Based Internship- Up to $8,200 stipends for 400-hour summer internships and/or research experiences focused on science, technology, engineering, math, or space/aerospace projects in Idaho during Summer 2025. Complete the basic details below as well as upload the following documents: Resume



  • ISGC Affiliate Grants - Proposals submitted by Affiliate institutions can request up to $25,000 total for their project, including any indirect/F&A costs. These grants are for activities such as participation in STEM-focused competitive teams (e.g., robotics teams, etc.), participation in NASA-organized activities, workshops, special courses, or other activities to increase post-secondary student engagement in STEM fields.   • ISGC Partner Grants - Proposals submitted by Partner institutions can request up to $10,000, including any indirect/F&A costs, for activities such as NASA-organized activities, workshops, special courses, or other activities to increase post-secondary student engagement in STEM fields. Complete the basic details below as well as upload the following documents: Your proposal as a single PDF and your proposed budget as an MS Excel file


  • Student Travel Grant - Up to $5,000 for short-term travel expenses for undergraduate or graduate students attending an Idaho Institution to attend a conference, event, training, and other similar activity.   • Travel Grants - Up to $5,000 to cover activities such as travel to competitions, camps, science centers, field trips, or educator professional development activities.   • Unsolicited - A grant proposal that does not fit the mold of any of the choices listed. Complete the basic details below as well as upload the following documents: Your proposal as a single PDF and your proposed budget as an MS Excel file
