Calling all astronomy enthusiasts! The Challenger Learning Center in Tallahassee is seeking a Part-Time Planetarium Operator to deliver immersive, educational star shows. In this role, you'll operate advanced planetarium equipment, present live demonstrations, collaborate with educators to develop engaging content, and interact with visitors to spark a love for space science. You'll also assist with equipment maintenance and work closely with a passionate team to enhance the overall guest experience. 🌠 Responsibilities:


  • Operate planetarium equipment to deliver visually stunning and educational astronomy shows.


  • Collaborate with educators to develop engaging planetarium content aligned with educational objectives.


  • Conduct live presentations, workshops, and demonstrations for visitors of all ages.


  • Interact with guests, answer questions and fostering a love for astronomy and space science.


  • Maintain and troubleshoot planetarium equipment to ensure optimal performance.


  • Work collaboratively with staff, educators, and volunteers to enhance the overall visitor experience.
