Climbing Wall Special Event Form

1. New (rope is less than 30 days old)
2. Good (minimal fuzz, core intact, no visible damage, flat spots, minimal flat spots)
3. Fair (some fuzz on sheath, no core damage, flat spots, some glazing)
4. Poor and needs to be monitored (sheath is very fuzzy, a lot of flat spots, dirty, stiff, glazing)
5. Needs to be replaced (Contact AJ if you notice any of these: any hour glassing, core damage, visible core, sheath damaged, excessive glazing)

There is a photo on the Adventure Center cork board that displays what a good rope vs. poor rope looks like.

If any ropes are in poor condition, please indicate rope number & what needs to be monitored (e.g., fuzzy spots, glazing, etc.) and send AJ or the Climbing Wall managers a Teams message.
