BF is working with the Ukrainian Fencing Federation to help connect Ukrainian fencing families with hosts ('Sponsors') from the fencing community in the UK, under the Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme (Homes for Ukraine)

After you complete the form we will do our best to match you with one of the families or individuals looking for a home in the UK. We will start off by providing you with the the basic information (Number of people and names/ages/gender).


If you would like to take it to the next stage we will facilitate a direct connection between you and the family/individual seeking a home.


Once the connections are made, you as the Sponsor (along with the person/people arriving) will still need to go through the UK government process.

If you choose to go ahead, you will need to complete the UK government process. BF is not is a position to offer legal or administrative support with this.


BF can only pass onto you the information that we are receiving from the Ukrainian Fencing Federation.

Please tell us something about your local fencing club and the opportunities that might exist for adults or children to continue their involvement in fencing whilst living with you and how that might be facilitated.

Please let us know which weapons are fenced in your local club.

Please let us know anything that you think would be relevant to help us match you with a family. eg local facilities, schools, other family members, pets etc

As part of the matching process we will pass the basic information (excluding contact and address details) to people that match the profile that you have provided. If you would like us to pass on a personal message as part of that process please add it here.

  • To contact you in relation to the information provided on this form.
  • To administrate the BF support for Homes for Ukraine


In order for us to administrate this service we will pass personal data to:

  • BF volunteers who are helping to deliver this service
  • Members of the Ukrainian Fencing Community
  • The Ukrainian Fencing Federation





BF will store and retain the personal data you have provided in this form for 24 months after your request has been processed.




Complaints or Queries


Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have rights as an individual which you can exercise in relation to the information we hold about you. BF tries to meet the highest standards when collecting and using personal information. For this reason, we take any complaints we receive about this very seriously. We encourage people to bring it to our attention if they think that our collection or use of information is unfair, misleading or inappropriate. We would also welcome any suggestions for improving our procedures.
