SAGE Peer Facilitator Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a peer facilitator for SAGE for the upcoming semester.

Lead Peer Facilitator:

The SAGE lead peer facilitators will assist the Peer Education Manager in preparation of weekly SAGE staff meetings. This student will be in charge of organizing and presenting the lecture material to fellow peer facilitators during staff meetings, as well as initiating discussions of activities. The student will work 4-6 hours per week and receive $14.50/hour ($16.50/hour beginning July 1). Lead peer facilitators will facilitate a learning community as well.

Peer Facilitator:

Peer facilitators will lead learning communities of approximately 6-8 students in weekly sessions to review learning strategies and application of content from topics presented in lecture. Peer facilitators will run 1 or 2 communities a week and attend a mandatory weekly staff meeting. Students will also be paid for a one hour prep time and receive $14/hour ($16/hour beginning July 1) for the 3-4 hour/week commitment.

SAGE staff will contact selected students for interviews.
