Media Terms and Conditions
I/We acknowledge that I/We have read and understood the Terms and Conditions for Dust Hustle 17 and confirm that all information provided is accurate.
1. Media Access and Pass Use
1.1. Media access is strictly limited to 8:00am to 7:00pm daily and must be arranged in advance with the Media Manager.
1.2. A Media Pass grants entry to Mick Doohan Raceway under the Event Terms and Conditions.
2. Credential Collection and Media Vest Requirements
2.1. Media credentials can be collected upon arrival
2.2. No Dust Hustle media vests will be provided for Dust Hustle 17. All media representatives are required to supply and wear their own “Media Vest” while at the venue, unless specifically exempted. The vest must have “MEDIA” clearly printed with letters no less than 75mm high and 40-50mm wide on the back and 50mm high and 25-30mm wide on the right front panel.
2.3 The Media Vest must be worn along with a "Media Lanyard" and a "WORKFORCE Wristband" at all times while working at the event.
3. Safety and Conduct Guidelines
3.1. Media personnel are not permitted to stand on concrete barriers or other structures for filming or photography.
3.2. All instructions from Event Security and Staff must be followed at all times.
3.3. Media reported for encouraging patrons to violate Event Terms and Conditions, the Entrant Code of Conduct, or disregarding instructions from Event Staff will have their accreditation revoked and may be expelled. This may also lead to future event bans for the media entity or individual.
4. Requirements for Commercial Video Production
4.1. Any commercial video production company applying for Media Accreditation must submit a detailed filming plan, including production and broadcast intentions, for approval by the Media Manager.
4.2. Additional filming restrictions may apply to commercial production companies at the discretion of the Dust Hustle Management or the Media Manager.
5. Live Streaming Rules
5.1. Live streaming by approved media is prohibited in all restricted/media-only areas.
6. Photo ID and Parking
6.1. Photo ID is required when collecting media passes.
6.2. Complimentary parking is available in the general car park upon request in the Media Accreditation Application.
7. Event Management Rights
7.1. Event Management reserves the right to limit media access inside Dust Hustle if operational needs require it.
8. Agreement
By participating in Dust Hustle 17, I/We agree to the following:
8.1 Acceptance of Risk: I/We accept all risks associated with participating in Dust Hustle 17, even if those risks arise due to negligence by Dust Hustle Pty Ltd.
8.2 Responsibility for Injury or Damage: I/We take full responsibility for any injuries, loss, or damage sustained, even if caused by Dust Hustle 17 Pty Ltd’s negligence.
8.3. Indemnity for Third-Party Damages: I/We agree to indemnify Dust Hustle Pty Ltd from any liability related to third-party personal property damage or injury resulting from my/our participation.
8.4 To Indemnify and Hold Harmless: I/We agree to indemnify Dust Hustle Pty Ltd, its organisers, associates, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, members, and representatives against any claims, demands, actions, or costs arising from participation in Dust Hustle 17, even if these are due to negligence by Dust Hustle Pty Ltd.
