Park Event Partner Application

Thank you for your interest in being an event partner with the General Services Department-Recreation Division. As a park event partner you will be able to host your event or event series in collaboration with the General Services Department-Recreation Division events team.


As a program partner you will be required to provide all funding, programming, staffing and operations for your event. The event must be free to the public. The General Services Department-Recreation Division will provide the park space, develop the flyer, market and book all vendors and food trucks from the licensed vendor list.

Required Documents

You must upload the below documents for your application to be reviewed. Documents must be uploaded in a JPEG, PNG or PDF format.


  1. A detailed event programming, management, operations and staffing plan.
  2. A copy of your liability waiver.
  3. Proof of insurance


*If your event is approved, you will be required to add the City of Detroit to your insurance*
