MIEMSS is accepting nominations for the 2025 Right Care Awards for children and youth. 2025 nominations are for actions taking place between January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024. Nominations for the 2025 awards will be accepted on a rolling basis with a final DUE date of Friday, March 28, 2025. Nomination Guidelines are located at: https://www.miemss.org/home/Public/Awards

1. Call or text emergency response by calling 9-1-1 or 9-8-8 or 1-800-222-1212 in an emergency.

2. Provides emergency phone numbers, address, health history to emergency dispatcher and/or emergency responders.

3. Teaches others the importance of written emergency plan and practices at home including disaster preparedness.

4. Applies knowledge learned and performs CPR / AED during emergency in the community (not on duty).

5. Implements a unique program in Community Risk Reduction that provides education in the community.
