ITC22 Speaker & Workshop Proposals

Thank you for your interest in submitting a proposal for the Legal Services Corporation's 2022 Innovations in Technology Conference (ITC22) in Phoenix, AZ. The conference will be held at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown on January 13 - 15, (pre-conference date is January 12). Proposals will be reviewed by the selection committee and you will be notified by September 17, 2021 if your proposal was successful.

Make sure the title is compelling – use it to get attention, be descriptive and not too cute. People should get a general sense of what the session is about just from the title.
 
 
The session description should be persuasive and connect with attendees. Start by identifying the problem or issue being addressed. Focus on what the attendee will learn in the session. Describe how the session will share lessons learned and how attendees might be participating in the session. Use active voice. Session descriptions should be about 100 to 150 words and no more than 1,200 characters.

Provide a succinct learning objective for the presentation. For workshops, hands-on labs, technology demonstrations and tactical sessions, provide up to three key take-aways from the presentation. For example: As a result of this session, attendees will be able to: 1) Learn the key components of successful explainer videos. 2) Understand how to use explainer videos for urgent community education. 3) Learn strategies to use explainer videos to drive traffic to your website.
 
 
 
Advise what tools and methods you plan to use to engage the audience. Hands on activities, scenarios, live demos, etc.

Presenter 1 should be the lead presenter. You will be the point of contact for the ITC team. You will also be responsible for communicating updates from the ITC team with your co-presenters.

Workshops should have no more than four presenters including a moderator. Proposals that include presenters with a diverse background and a variety of expertise will be most appealing for the ITC audience. Submissions should include contact information and brief biographies for all proposed presenters/moderators.
 
 
All ITC22 presenters are expected to register for the conference by December 3. Presenters attending any session other than their own are required to pay a conference registration fee and to cover the costs of any travel to attend. LSC is unable to offer assistance with travel or lodging costs. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
