Workshop Type*

Introduction to Canvas - One hour session that provides an overview of the Ohio Canvas Templates, details what is different in Canvas from blackboard, and walks through of an example Canvas course.

Transitioning/Building a Course in Canvas - 1.5 to 2 hour session that reviews the steps to set up your course in Canvas. This workshop covers transitioning existing content to Canvas from Blackboard (transition option), applying and using an Ohio Template, an overview of assignment options, module organization, and an overview of other Canvas options and elements.

Group Consultation - One to one and a half hour session to allow faculty to work on designing their course with the support of Instructional Designers and Instructional Technologist. This is a studio style workshop that is less structured.
