Expression of interest to exhibit at YAM in 2026

Yarrila Arts and Museum (YAM) is calling for expressions of interest from Coffs Coast artists to exhibit in 2026.

The Coffs Coast region encompasses the Coffs Harbour, Bellingen and Nambucca local government areas. This includes postcodes 2441, 2447, 2448, 2449, 2450, 2452, 2453, 2454, 2455, 2456. Artists may be currently living and/or working in these areas or may have previously done so.

Artists and groups are invited to submit proposals for exhibitions within YAM’s Gallery 4. This exhibition space aims to support and promote the work of artists from the Coffs Coast region through an active and diverse exhibition program.

Submissions close midnight Sunday 15 June 2025

Successful applicants will be notified by email by the end of June 2025.

NOTE: Proposals can be both completed bodies of work with an exhibition rationale and description, or indicative works with a concept rationale (as detailed as possible). This is an expression of interest only and does not guarantee selection for exhibition. Decisions are final, and no correspondence about selection decisions will be entered into.

For confirmed Exhibitors, questions regarding installation, opening arrangements, deliveries, media appointments and other arrangements in the lead up to your exhibition, must be directed to YAM’s curatorial team.

There will be a community information session about the application process and exhibiting at YAM in 2026 on Monday 7 April 2025.
