MedCerts Certified Medical Assistant Sponsorship

The MedCerts CMA program is an online medical assistant training program. The program is designed to take approximately 6 months, but you are able to work at your own pace. Sanford Health is partnered with MedCerts by providing financial assistance to selected candidates. Potential students will be vetted by both MedCerts and Sanford to determine if the program is a match.

Please note that we are not accepting applications in Bismarck at this time.

During the program, students will be contacted by a Sanford Talent Advisor for check ins and guidance throughout the program. Toward the end of the program you will be contacted by a Sanford Talent Advisor to assist you with employment. You will be able to begin employment after successfully completing the program, the national examination and any applicable state certifications.

Recipients agree to work for Sanford Health as a CMA for a period of 2 years in a full-time status, after successful graduation.
Forgiveness will begin upon receipt of permanent CMA state certification.
Failure to comply with any of the requirements of this program will result in repayment of the loan with interest.

FUNDING

Sanford Health provides this financial resource directly to the students selected through the application process. Any and all taxes associated with this financial resource become due at the time of forgiveness. You will see the taxes deducted in the tax year of your employment as an CMA. This is in accordance with the Internal Revenue Services’ guidelines.
