ASEAN Online Education Platform

for Industry 4.0 application

Before applying for your license, please familiarize yourself with the structure of the ASEAN Online Education Platform

for Industry 4.0.

During the application process, you will have to select your Program Track: Science and Technology (S&T), Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I), or Industry Professional Credentials (IPC). If you choose the S&T track, you will also be asked to select one of the nine Technical Academies: 1) Agricultural Science Academy, 2) Biological Sciences Academy, 3) Cloud, Machine Learning, and Security Academy, 4) Earth Sciences Academy, 5) Energy Sustainability Academy, 6) Information Technologies Academy, 7) Material Sciences Academy, 8) Semiconductor Technologies Academy, or 9) Space Technology Academy.

If your application is approved, you will receive an email from Coursera to activate your license. If you choose the S&T or E&I Tracks, you will have 2 months to complete your track. If you are selected to receive a license for the IPC Track, you will have 3 months to complete your courses.

To receive an E&I program-level certificate of completion issued by STIC, you are required to complete 4 mandatory courses listed in the track; To receive an S&T program-level certificate of completion, you are required to complete at least one concentration of the technical academy of the track that you register and have a license to study at.

Achieving an S&T or E&I program-level certificate of completion makes you eligible to apply for the STIC Seed Grants Program. Each year, STIC will competitively select the top 70 S&T and E&I projects to be presented at the STIC Annual Conference where four S&T and four E&I projects will be selected to receive a seed grant of $12,500 USD each.
