Chemonics seeks a Human Resources and Operations Director to manage its regional office in South Africa. The Human Resources and Operations Director serves as a partner to the Regional Office leadership team to ensure the office delivers on its mission, strategic goals, and objectives. Provides operational oversight of the Office and fosters strong working relationships between Headquarters and other key stakeholders. Works closely with Regional Office leadership on budget planning, fiscal accountability, and general policy development. The Human Resources and Operations Director is committed to promoting and enhancing professional development and quality work performance. S/he directly supervises operational staff within the Office and provides leadership to Chemonics’ global workforce by demonstrating Chemonics’ core values -- caring, excellence, innovation, integrity and opportunity – and by utilizing effective management and leadership principles.
