Call for Presentations (Holiday Showcase 2017)

Thank you for your interest in submitting a presentation for consideration at the Association Forum’s 2017 Holiday Showcase on Thursday, Dec. 14 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago in Chicago, IL, 151 E. Wacker Drive.

Please review the following information before submitting your presentation:

• Association Forum will accept up to three (3) proposals to present per primary author.
• Education sessions will be approximately 50 minutes in length, including time for participant question and answer.

The deadline to submit is Monday, August 21, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

All submissions will be evaluated by the Holiday Showcase Program Advisory Group, and all primary authors will be notified of their acceptance status on or before Friday, September 15, 2017.

Association Forum is a nonprofit organization, and therefore speaker honoraria and/or fees are not available. Chicago is the second largest community of association executives in the U.S. and presenting at an Association Forum event affords speakers access to an audience of association executives and other leaders in the association industry. It also represents an exceptional opportunity for speakers to secure additional engagements with associations whose executives make up our audience.

Selected speakers (up to three per session) will receive complimentary registration to Holiday Showcase if you attend your session only. Otherwise, you will receive 50% off the early-bird rate of $140 if you plan to attend the full day. Please note that full-day registration includes brunch and the exhibit hall.

Registrations are only transferable in the event that a speaker who can no longer participate identifies a replacement speaker who is approved by Association Forum. In the event that a selected speaker works for an exhibiting company at Holiday Showcase, that speaker must utilize a complimentary registration from his/her company’s exhibitor allotment (as outlined in the exhibitor agreement) and will not receive a complimentary speaker registration.
