2024 Evidence-Based Practice Fellowship Application

The UCSF Leadership Institute within the Center for Nursing Excellence & Innovation is pleased to offer the Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Fellowship Program.


This nine-month, 120-hour training and implementation experience includes didactic training, mentored practice sessions, and support through a group coaching model. During the fellowship, participants will develop, implement, evaluate, and disseminate a formal practice change in their microsystem with the aim of advancing clinical practice and improving patient and family care. The monthly workshops are aligned with adult learning principles and experiential learning exercises, incorporating feature didactic teachings and opportunities for application.


Once you have submitted your application, a request for approval notification will be sent to your Unit/Department Manager or Director.


Virtual informational meetings will be offered to those who are interested in learning more about the program or have any clarifying questions that need to be addressed. Please look out for emails with specific dates/times.
