REU Student Information

Please submit REU stipend requests by the 15th of each month. Student Financial Services will process stipends by the 23rd of the month.

Note: This position does not require students to submit timesheets and they are not hired in Workday. The position dates are determined by the supervisor.

Stipend

You may enter the stipend at a monthly rate with number of months(preferred) or hourly rate with hours per week and number of weeks, you do not need to do both.


NSF recommends $500 per week for full-time summer work but that is just a recommendation. You can increase it if you'd like (or reduce if they aren't full time). $25/hour is the maximum hourly rate for undergrads.
