The JJDPA and WIC §207.1(b) prohibit the detention of delinquent minors (WIC §602) over six (6) hours. **PLEASE NOTE - THE NUMBERS REPORTED IN SECTIONS III AND IV ARE SEPARATE AND NOT CUMULATIVE**

The JJDPA and WIC §206 and §207 prohibit the SECURE detention of status offenders (WIC §601) and nonoffenders (WIC §300/WIC §5150) DO NOT COUNT NONSECURE DETENTION OF WIC §601 and WIC §300 minors.
