Relevant Components in Submitted Proposal
Current and Pending Support: Please confirm that the Current and Pending Support includes all current project support for this project, for ongoing projects, and for any proposals currently under consideration from whatever source including, but not limited to:
● federal, state, local, or foreign agencies or entities;
● public or private foundations; non-profit organizations;
● industrial or other commercial organizations;
● internal funds allocated toward specific projects;
● or consulting agreements.
Reporting of these items is required, irrespective of whether such support is provided through the proposing organization or is provided directly to the individual.
All projects and activities that require a time commitment must be reported (no minimum has been established), even if the support received is only in-kind or otherwise does not have monetary value. In-kind contributions include, but are not limited to things such as office/laboratory space, equipment, supplies, employees, students. In-kind contributions not intended for use on the project/proposal being proposed must also be reported. If the project (or any part of the project) now being submitted has been funded previously by a source other than NSF, information must be provided regarding the last period of funding. Although this information is used primarily to confirm that the PIs have the capacity to take on the proposed project, NSF may also use this section to ensure all foreign affiliations are reported. Please refer to NSF PAPPG II.C.2.h.
Facilities, Equipment and Other Resources: Please confirm that the Facilities, Equipment and Other Resources section includes all in-kind contributions, from both domestic and foreign sources that are intended for use on this project being proposed to NSF. In-kind contributions include, but are not limited to things such as office/laboratory space, equipment, supplies, employees, students. Domestic and foreign sources of in-kind support include but are not limited to, federal, state, local, or foreign agencies or entities; public or private foundations; non-profit organizations; industrial or other commercial organizations; internal funds allocated toward specific projects; or consulting agreements. Although this information is used primarily to assess the adequacy of the resources available to perform the effort proposed, NSF may also use this section to ensure all foreign affiliations are reported.
