List your prospective thesis advisors in order of preference (write N/A if unsure). The department will contact the first faculty member listed for approval.


Consider the English professor(s) you would prefer to be your thesis advisor—including but not limited to professors who share an interest in your preliminary thesis topic. It may be helpful to check the faculty bios on the English website for potential advisors, where you can see academic interests listed. The Director of Honors can help you choose an advisor if you do not have one in mind.
