VOTING MEMBERS provide partnerships, experience, or expertise in one of the following roles:


  • Private Land Steward--Has experience implementing conservation practices on private lands where agricultural activities occur.


  • Ag. Viability Rep.--Comfortable speaking to the agricultural viability of conservation practices with the Work Group, grower groups, and the larger public.


  • TSP & Incentive Program Partner--Works or has worked to provide technical assistance and incentive programs to increase the amount of conservation practices adopted in a geographic area.


  • Ecological Outcomes Advisor--Has experience monitoring, interpreting, or reviewing environmental data related to the functions and values of Critical Areas.


  • Critical Area Policy Advisor--Has knowledge of policies (Local, State, or Federal) that pertain to Critical Area protections, considered our "Regulatory Backstop."



NON-VOTING MEMBERS contribute insight during meetings and the adaptive management of VSP goals & objectives:


  • Interested Agency: Receive notifications of specific meetings, documents, or milestones.


  • Interested Public: Meetings are open to the public. District Staff aim to engage the public in conservation program development and inform outreach efforts.
