GOOD PHOTOS SELL. POOR PHOTOS UNSELL. Please provide one or more photos of your festival or event. The photos should be unaltered, well-composed, high-resolution images, free of any markings e.g. no logos or credits and no photo collages.

They should be uploaded as JPEGS or PNG files. They should be horizontal (landscape) in shape.

PHOTO TERMS & CONDITIONS By submitting photo(s) you are agreeing, as the person authorised to do so, to give permission to Clare County Council to use the image(s) for its websites, photo banks, publications, and other promotional purposes.

You are also agreeing to allow Clare County Council to share the photos with others for their use, including but not limited to travel trade, media, agencies and other travel influencers. Clare Council Council CANNOT guarantee that photo images used will be credited.

GDPR and COPYRIGHT: In submitting images, you GUARANTEE to Clare County Council that you have copyright or permission from the photographer to share the images in accordance with the above and that you or they, in turn, have permission from any person or persons who appear in the photos allowing the images to be used as above – the photographer must have obtained this in writing by asking those in the photo to sign “model/photo release forms”. If there are minors in the photographs, their parents or guardians must sign a similar release form. Photos may only be submitted via this online system.

• The Event may only be submitted by the event organiser, or by a person officially designated to submit the details of this Festival/Event.

• Other than for unforeseen circumstances, the event must be certain to happen. It should not be a provisional event or conditional on receipt of a grant or other supports not already secured.

• The event organisers must agree to advise Clare Tourism of any changes to the festival and special event dates, or any changes to the event of a material nature that visitors should be made aware of, including cancellations or major programme changes. Changes must be advised to Clare Tourism, in writing, via the 'change request' form on www.Clare.ie/profiles.

• IMPORTANT: To feature, Festival or Events should be SPECIAL – providing great leisure, social, sporting or cultural experiences outside of the normal range of everyday 'what's-on' choices. The events should be of a QUALITY and TYPE that can attract overseas or domestic visitors to the County.

• The Festivals or Special Events, meeting all other criteria, should also fall within one of the following categories: Festivals/Celebrations; Concerts/Performances; Traditional Music & Dance; Food & Drink; Exhibitions/Shows; or Major Sporting Events.

• To be considered for listing on Clare.ie, Festival and Events details must be submitted a minimum of 30 days in advance of the event. Clare County Council reserves the right to accept or decline the application to profile the event. Clare County Council also reserves the right to make edits to the listing in the interest of style, consistency, accuracy or brevity.

• You must be the person officially authorised to submit this event profile and are also authorised to agree to the terms outlined in the more detailed Tourism Content System Data Contributor Agreement and Tourism Content Privacy Notice - see links below.

• You are confirming that the information you have provided is accurate, has been carefully compiled, and may be used as your business profile on the Clare.ie and VisitClare.ie websites and that it may also be drawn upon in whole or in part (information and photographs) for use in Visit Clare Tourism Promotions (see data contributor agreement).

• You are agreeing that Clare County Council, or its appointed agents, may edit your listing in the interest of style, consistency, accuracy or brevity.

• You are agreeing to advise Clare Tourism of any changes of a material nature which visitors should be made aware of e.g. new developments, closures, change of contact details.

• You are confirming that your business complies with all applicable planning, tax, insurance (including public liability insurance), transportation (including licensing), safety, consumer protection and other legal and regulatory requirements that are appropriate to your business.

• You agree that Clare County Council may contact you in relation to this profile and in relation to Clare Tourism Development and Promotional issues.

• You understand that Clare County Council reserves the right to accept or decline all or part of this event profile and any or all of the photographs for any reason whatsoever at its sole discretion.
